New Moon- New Hunk- Screaming Girls

Bella Swan: You're sort of beautiful
Jacob Black: How hard did you hit your head?

Okay, so I am not a true fan of The Twilight Saga (I hate that word btw). Haven't read the books. But I have seen both of the movies... Just my opinion... New Moon. It was good. Much better than the first. Much better, but the first was an absolute mess. There are a lot of topless guys in this one and all the little girls in the audience were going crazy for Jacob. I mean, people love Edward because he is the sensitive type, but did they have to put poor Edward to shame and have both of the guys in topless scenes? It's like comparing Swiss cheese that has turned translucent and sweaty from being left out all day to a fresh chunk of Cheddar cheese... Mmm yummy:)

I think I enjoyed the experience more than the movie, but like I said it was good. Worthy of an Oscar, No... But it was fun hearing all the girls, including my friends, scream and ooh and ah for the boys. It's a fun teeny-bopper movie. When it was over I overheard a girl behind me say, "Did you see his back muscles?" Hilarious, she was like 13?? I know now, for sure, that the reason no one cares that this is an elementary level vampire and werewolf story is that they aren't there for the action... but rather for the love of their life... who is with undeserving Bella... who could so easily be replaced with them. I can just hear them say "Edward/Jacob why do you like her- she's so awkward and weird- when you could have me?"  Truly brilliant to write the heroine of the story as a complete dope so that all girls will love the fact that they could totally replace her as the better option:) Brilliant.

Referring to the quote up top... Seriously, everyone who is on this ride just wants to have fun, because who doesn't want to be a teenager in love?  Attention: Husbands who are being compared to these heartthrobs: just remember, they have only been hit in the head and not the heart... that is still yours:) But if you want to make sure, don't forget the stocking stuffers.

Nail on the head. I am sure when I see this movie a 2nd time I will be laughing my head off like last time. It does seems better than the first.
