11th Annual LDS Film Festival

I am so excited to be participating in the 24 Hour Filmmaking Marathon this year!

It starts this Friday, Jan 20th at 10am and ends just 24 hours later. They will announce the theme, a line of dialogue and a prop to be used the films we create. I did this once before for the 48 Hour Film Project a few years back. It was a ton of fun. So I've rounded up one of the actors, Rocket Cordray, that I used in METHOD, the film that ended up taking Best in Show out of like 40 teams, along with my gorgeous friend Alina and her daughter, to help out with this film. But I saved a spot in my 5 team limit for my most amazing husband and cinematographer, Roderick A. Santiano. Check out his site now! 

I'm really excited about the motto: 

"The glory of God is intelligence, or, in other words, light and truth." (D&C 93:36).

I am looking forward to incorporating aspects of this into my film, although I won't know what the subject matter will be until the day of!

Of course if it ends up totally cheesy that will be due to the fact that this is only my second film;) I have done a few other commercials, some I love and some I would have loved to redue or change up a bit... One of the funnest educations of my life for sure though! So, wish us luck! I can't wait to start!! I am  literally shaking! It will be the best date night ever;)
